In 1984, Meristem was founded by Julie Stenson to provide organizational and workforce development services. The word meristem (a botanical term meaning "the growing point of a plant") communicates our philosophy/mission of change and growth: We focus on people in organizations… your growing points.
Capitalizing on the growing expertise of our consulting team—in research, learning, and organizational effectiveness—Meristem launched a new menu of high-end services in the mid-1990s that now includes strategic management, leadership development, and process improvement.
Meristem is privately held and based in Corvallis, Oregon.
